More Information

Norio Taniguchi finds stories in the people, animals, and landscapes. The purpose of his creation is surrounded by the theme of the past, the future, and time, which creates an unique worldview in his deep pursuit of drawing using oil paintings, prints, and woodblocks.

My current art works concept is

"Records of a new planet discovered by a time traveler"

The new planet is similar to Earth, but different.

That time traveler is me, and also stranger.

The works in this exhibition are records of the lands as seen by the time traveler.

Those places were peaceful lands.
