Homer Reassembled explores the very essence of this cult character: universally recognized yet
profoundly mundane. By deconstructing Homer Simpson, I wanted to play with his simplicity and
cultural malleability. Each metallic ribbon symbolizes repetition, excess, and the saturation of a
world where everything is mass-produced. Despite this mechanical nature, Homer retains his
humanity. It’s an ode to the sublimated ordinary, showing how even the simplest figures can
become emblematic of our time.
